Learning to Teach
Welcome to the partnership website for the PGCE (Primary) programme at the University of Southampton. The site provides information to all those who work within our partnership so that our trainees benefit from a fully integrated training experience as they learn to teach.
The site provides information for Class Mentors to help support them in their role whilst our trainees are on school placement. The necessary paperwork can also be downloaded from the forms section and every week during the time our trainees are in school, update posts will ba made to guide Class Mentors and trainees through the activities of the week ahead.
Updated: 09 January 2023
This year, update posts will published on this site each week throughout the Learning About Teaching in Schools (LATiS) block. Teachers and trainees will receive notifications in their inbox.
More information can be found on the LATiS page.
