The OFERTIE project participated at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) meeting in London, IETF89 on 2nd-7th March 2014, where we presented an outline of the project and its plans, highlighting how the project fits within the FIRE programme.
The IRTF, which meets within the IETF, includes a research group on software-defined networking (SDNRG). You can see the material we presented here as a PDF document.
Specific interests in IRTF work include the definition of generic models, e.g. as described in draft-haleplidis-sdnrg-layer-terminology-04, and specific definitions of NorthBound APIs.
