  • The IT Innovation Centre is the applied research centre of the University of Southampton’s School of Electronics and Computer Science. We research, develop, architect, engineer and integrate innovative ICT systems. We also provide professional services including research and development, consultancy and technology due diligence. An international leader in applied research, and a key player in the development of the Future Internet, we work on a wide range of ICT including: secure service-oriented systems; information discovery and decision support; archiving and retrieval; and the relationship of technology to new business models, processes and values.
  • The Web and Internet Science (WAIS) group within Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University has over 200 staff, researchers and PhD students working in a wide range of Web and Internet subject areas, from open linked data to large-scale sensor networks. It includes a significant amount of inter-disciplinary activity. As a result of research and development work in WAIS, ECS has deployed IPv6 natively across a network of over 3,000 users and 5,000 hosts, as a dual-stack transition from an IPv4 service.

University of Muenster

  • With over 40,000 students, WestfĂ€lische Wilhelms-UniversitĂ€t Muenster is one of the largest universities in Germany. The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science has an excellent national and international reputation in teaching, research and transfer of knowledge. The Institute of Computer Science comprises a number of active research groups in such areas as software engineering, computer graphics and visualization, pattern recognition and image processing, algorithm engineering, etc., and includes internationally recognised researchers in all its disciplines.

i2CAT Foundation

  • The i2CAT Foundation is a not for profit Spanish organization focused on Future Internet developments, and aims at meeting the following objectives: i) to promote and foster experimental technological development; ii) to promote advanced research into networks and broadband applications and to foster its usage; iii) to develop Internet technologies in Catalonia, particularly in terms of applications, services and advanced research in network technologies; iv) to set up platforms for collaboration between the private sector and university research bodies, and promote collaboration with organisations and institutions that have similar aims at national or international level and v) to participate in national, international and FP EC European research projects.

Spinor

  • Spinor GmbH, located in Munich, Germany, develops Shark 3D, an authoring system and run-time 3d engine for computer games, visualizations, simulations and for broadcasting.
    Worldwide, more than 25 games are based on Spinor’s Shark 3D software. One of those games is the award-winning video game “Dreamfall: The Longest Journey” from developer Funcom. This game was ranked as the world’s best game across all genre of the year by Gamespy, one of the worlds leading magazines of the game industry. The game has also won multiple awards on the E3, the leading video games trade show.

Turk Telekom

  • Turk Telekom (TT), the leading communication and convergence technology company in Turkey, provides integrated telecommunication services from PSTN and GSM to broadband internet. As of March 31, 2011; TĂŒrk Telekom group companies have 15.8 mn Fixed Access Lines, 6.7 mn ADSL Connections and 11.8 mn Mobile Subscribers and about 8000 Wi-Fi hotspots.
    Turk Telekom has been a pioneer for R&D in Turkey. Two R&D Centers have been so far established in Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul and in Middle East Technical University in Ankara, to manage and encourage information and technology flow.

Interoute
