{"id":12,"date":"2016-04-22T15:56:40","date_gmt":"2016-04-22T14:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/oacollaboration\/?page_id=12"},"modified":"2016-04-29T16:40:12","modified_gmt":"2016-04-29T15:40:12","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/oacollaboration\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #005c84\"><strong>What is the challenge?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #51626f\">The \u2018Opposites Attract\u2019 Challenge gives doctoral researchers from different areas the opportunity to team up and explore how they might collaborate to produce some kind of output for the <a style=\"color: #51626f\" href=\"http:\/\/southampton\/pgrfestsoton\" target=\"_blank\">Festival of Doctoral Research<\/a> (eg blog, poster, video, hands-on activity or display, proposal for further research \u2026).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #51626f\">Pairs\/teams are supported with training and up to \u00a3200 to produce their output.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #51626f\">We are delighted that 16 researchers applied to participate in the first &#8216;Opposites Attract&#8217; to take place at Southampton*, and\u00a0six pairs\/projects have emerged. Each pair now has six weeks to work together, culminating in a showcase of their work within the Festival at the end of May 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #51626f\"><em>*Opposites Attract was devised and first run by Bristol Doctoral College<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the challenge?
