What is the challenge?
The ‘Opposites Attract’ Challenge gives doctoral researchers from different areas the opportunity to team up and explore how they might collaborate to produce some kind of output for the Festival of Doctoral Research (eg blog, poster, video, hands-on activity or display, proposal for further research …).
Pairs/teams are supported with training and up to £200 to produce their output.
We are delighted that 16 researchers applied to participate in the first ‘Opposites Attract’ to take place at Southampton*, and six pairs/projects have emerged. Each pair now has six weeks to work together, culminating in a showcase of their work within the Festival at the end of May 2016.
*Opposites Attract was devised and first run by Bristol Doctoral College
