In addition to the Supervisory team, Southampton pioneered a Mentoring scheme in Medicine (Medment) >10 years ago and now provides this to students with one-stop, long-term and peer-peer opportunities.
Additionally, to support students throughout the programme, independent meetings with each Student are conducted termly in year 1 and 4, then annually in years 2-3 to discuss mentoring and pastoral issues.
