The Programme is delivered by a team of academics and administrators, experienced in postgraduate supervision, mentoring and pastoral care, delivering strong academic guidance and skills. Our potential supervisory pool is extensive with 50 members with excellent research track record, deriving from the Faculty of Medicine (Cancer Sciences, Human Development and Health and Clinical and Experimental Sciences (infection and immunity), the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (Biological Sciences, Psychology) and includes academics in Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering. It spans Molecular Cell Biology of Immune Cells, Immunotherapeutics, Cancer immunology, Neuroimmunology, Psychoneuroimmunology, Immunometabolism, Nutritional immunology, Mucosal immunology, Infection & viral immunology, Respiratory/Allergy, Systems immunology & Bioinformatics.
Importantly our supervisory cohort ranges from experienced professorial supervisors to more junior members, facilitating the provision and peer-peer training of future research leaders.
