Professor Cooper\u2019s research ranks among the top 1% most cited works in his field and during its year of publication, earned the mark of exceptional impact.<\/p>\n<p>Highly Cited Researchers is an annual list published by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters) recognising leading researchers in the sciences and social sciences from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Cooper\u2019s work on the epidemiology of musculoskeletal ageing, including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and sarcopenia, has contributed to over 1,000 published items; 53,000 citations and an H index of 119.
