Are you a man? Do you exercise? Are you interested in protein?
We’re running FREE Man Food workshops in Bristol to find out about food, the environment and men who exercise – whether it’s training at the gym, playing sports, a health referral, etc.
We’re looking for men from a range of ethnic backgrounds and ages to join us on three Monday evenings (5.30-8pm) in St Werburghs, starting on 21st August. We’ll be cooking, eating and talking together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, in the outdoor barn kitchen at Boiling Wells, which is run by St Werburghs City Farm. By coming along you’ll help researchers solve some bigger problems, as well as gain new skills, meet new people, and enjoy some free food! After attending all three workshops, you’ll receive a £20 shopping voucher.
The workshops are being run by researchers at The University of Southampton, Windmill Hill City Farm and The Matthew Tree Project, and are funded by AHRC Connected Communities. To book a place, please fill in the contact form below.
