Lectures may be resuming in a week and exams may be starting in two, but nothing can dampen this wonderful holiday mood of mine.
To celebrate the last winter break of my university life, I would like to share some photos I’ve collected over the past few weeks. Enjoy!
A favourite path of mine at campus.
Much time spent waiting for the bus at Highfield Interchange.
Rainbow over Langhorn Road.
Rainbow over Wessex Lane.
Some Christmas-related shots to really get into that holiday spirit.
Christmas lights at the Avenue campus.
The biggest lighted tree on campus. Reminds me of something..
Cotton candy tree?
Another one for aesthetics.
Christmas trees are abundant
Carol service at Portswood Church.
I absolutely enjoyed the various Christmas carol services that I attended and loved how different each one was from each other.
Walking around the city centre and visiting the Christmas market was not missed either.
The Guildhall at the city centre.
Lights reflected off the wet ground after the rain
The German market along Above Bar Street.
Of course there’s wurst.
A place to enjoy the food and drinks sold at the market. Also a place to take shelter from the rain.
It’s never-ending!
A smiling Nutcracker is a happy Nutcracker.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and for a great 2019!
