Audiology services have an essential role in that regard. For the first time, this research explored how audiologists perceived their support of workers with hearing loss. The results indicate a need for improvements in the care offered to workers by audiology, including some fundamental healthcare quality benchmarks such as access to services, information support and audiologists\u2019 competencies.
