Managing hearing loss in work-life can be vital to enable workers to deal with the challenges they face in their career path. Audiology services have an essential role in that regard. For the first time, this research explored how audiologists perceived their support of workers with hearing loss. The results indicate a need for improvements in the care offered to workers by audiology, including some fundamental healthcare quality benchmarks such as access to services, information support and audiologists’ competencies. Improving audiology care for workers with hearing loss will be a big step towards improving individual wellbeing, work practices, society and the economy.
