The project has reworked archival text, drawn from Christer\u2019s research, in performances with the acclaimed jazz saxophonist Jason Yarde, percussionist Mark Sanders, multi-instrumentalist Sylvia Hallett and choreographer Dam Van Huynh. This work has been developed and performed at several UK Arts venues, including the Turner Simms concert Hall and Aldeburgh Music in 2016. In November 2017, it was premiered at Liverpool Bluecoat, in coordination with an event at the International Slavery Museum. Since then it has been showcased on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b09kjl50\">BBC Radio 3\u2019s Hear and Now.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sweet Tooth will be performed in Southampton at Nuffield Southampton Theatres City (i.e. in the new Cultural Quarter rather than on campus) on 23 February 2018 at 7.45pm.
