Among these was a study presented by rheumatology trainee <strong>Dr Fiona Kirkham-Wilson<\/strong> which considered how growth early in life is associated with the risk of experiencing knee pain from osteoarthritis as we get older (being heavier at one year protected against pain). She was awarded an IOF young investigator award for this work.
