This work stream addresses the research question “How do we co-create systems approaches and develop transdisciplinary metrics to assess schemes, both when deciding whether to implement them and in evaluating their effectiveness?”
Using the transdisciplinary conceptual framework, we will develop a new transdisciplinary assessment framework for planning and transportation schemes. The framework will be created with the People’s Panel and Stakeholder Advisory Council, to reflect outcomes that matter across a spectrum encompassing health, health inequality, wellbeing, economic, social, carbon, environmental and biodiversity benefits, developing and strengthening current consideration of health impacts in both pre-implementation appraisal and post-implementation evaluation.
