The best preserved and most famous henge of the three is enclosing a 12th century Norman church. For many, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.english-heritage.org.uk\/visit\/places\/knowlton-church-and-earthworks\/\" target=\"_blank\">Knowlton Church<\/a> represents like no other the transition from pagan to Christian ritual traditions.
