{"id":6496,"date":"2021-10-26T16:35:04","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T15:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/digital-learning\/?p=6496"},"modified":"2024-06-20T15:53:44","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T14:53:44","slug":"a-year-of-ecoffees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/digital-learning\/2021\/10\/26\/a-year-of-ecoffees\/","title":{"rendered":"A year of eCoffees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In person, eCoffee@SGH provided opportunities not only for peer learning and support with TEL tools and techniques but also for forging connections.&nbsp; Since we\u2019ve been meeting online, that opportunity has felt just as important \u2013 if not more so.&nbsp; Sharing good practice and addressing common issues has helped counteract the isolation of working remotely, as well as providing inspiration, solutions to challenges, and contacts that extend that support beyond the session itself.&nbsp; We\u2019ve been delighted to welcome lots of new attendees and being able to \u2018meet\u2019 new colleagues and extend the community online.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Averaging 22 attendees each session, the past academic year offered eight eCoffees covering a range of requested themes. Are they engaged? Have they accessed the content? Have they understood? This tool enables students to access a range of alternative formats for Blackboard content, and supports staff in making their content accessible for all learners.
