It also has the potential to expand and streamline&nbsp;data collection.&nbsp;&nbsp;As&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/eCoffee_talk_18-05-02.pdf\">presentation slides<\/a>&nbsp;explain, this is a three-phase&nbsp;project and Caspian talked about the challenges involved in the ethics applications at each stage.<\/p>\n<p>Before creating any digital resource,&nbsp;it&#8217;s important to establish appropriate content and focus groups were involved in developing this for the &#8216;Abreast of Health&#8217; app, which was then&nbsp;built by <a href=\"https:\/\/mymhealth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">my mhealth<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH1.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1126 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH1-300x183.png?resize=300%2C183\" alt=\"aoh1\" width=\"300\" height=\"183\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Initially, users are asked to answer simple questions about their alcohol consumption and other details.&nbsp; Results are presented in&nbsp;a format&nbsp;that allows users&nbsp;to&nbsp;compare themselves with others, to assess their risk of alcohol-related harm, and to&nbsp;consider changes they might make to&nbsp;address&nbsp;this.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"font-weight: 300\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH2.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1125 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH2-300x153.png?resize=300%2C153\" alt=\"aoh2\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\"><\/a>A&nbsp;range of short activities follows, with users able to select the headings that interest them.&nbsp; Succinct&nbsp;summaries of key information and some interactive tasks allow users to explore these topics in an engaging way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH3.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1124\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/321\/2018\/05\/AoH3-300x166.png?resize=300%2C166\" alt=\"aoh3\" width=\"300\" height=\"166\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Further development of the resource is informed by the way that participants make use of the app, and their feedback.
