We work with Mariana Vargas-Caballero‘s group to better understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal plasticity in health and disease, with a particular focus on early tauopathy and mild cognitive impairment.

In collaboration with Yihua Wang, we investigate how stable post-translational modifications modulate neuronal excitability and network synchronicity.
