Our research is focused around cellular and molecular neurobiology. Our main aim is to understand how neurons maintain themselves throughout our lifetime. To this end we investigate the cellular and molecular changes underlying plasticity in health and neurodegeneration.
We are located in the Life Sciences Building, and members of the Southampton Neuroscience Group (SoNG) and the Institute for Life Sciences (IfLS). Our lab is actively engaged in multi-disciplinary research, as well as a range of outreach activities.
