{"id":2325,"date":"2018-07-04T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T08:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/deccma\/?p=2325"},"modified":"2018-06-16T18:57:12","modified_gmt":"2018-06-16T17:57:12","slug":"2325","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/deccma\/2018\/07\/04\/2325\/","title":{"rendered":"DECCMA Ghana shares research findings from the Volta delta during a student exchange workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>by Prosper Adiku<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In mid-May, Professor Kwasi Appeaning Addo of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ug.edu.gh\/\">University of Ghana<\/a> shared findings from the DECCMA project during a student exchange workshop on the Volta delta organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tudelft.nl\/en\/\">TU Delft<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.delta-alliance.org\/\">Delta Alliance<\/a> in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on \u201c<em>Shoreline change in the Volta delta and implications for coastal communities<\/em>\u201d as part of a scientific seminar in the Faculty of Architecture (13-18 May 2018), TU Delft, Prof. Appeaning Addo, Co-PI for DECCMA Ghana, highlighted the key factors responsible for change in the Volta delta.
