Drawing on research by DECCMA and CARIAA sister project, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.assar.uct.ac.za\/\">Adaptation at Scale in Arid and Semi-arid Regions (ASSAR)<\/a>, it also shows how migration exacerbates gendered vulnerabilities with consequences for community resilience and national economic planning.
