{"id":2098,"date":"2017-12-18T09:00:45","date_gmt":"2017-12-18T09:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/deccma\/?p=2098"},"modified":"2017-12-13T12:23:06","modified_gmt":"2017-12-13T12:23:06","slug":"prizegiving-for-the-enumerators-of-bangladeshs-1500-household-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/deccma\/2017\/12\/18\/prizegiving-for-the-enumerators-of-bangladeshs-1500-household-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Prizegiving for the enumerators of Bangladesh&#8217;s 1500 household survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Certificates were awarded to 18 young researchers who acted as enumerators in DECCMA&#8217;s survey of migration and adaptation in 1500 households in Dhaka and Chittagong &#8211; two of the most influential cities in Bangladesh and the destination of many migrants.<\/p>\n<p>The certificate award ceremony took place at the end of October at the <a href=\"http:\/\/iwfm.buet.ac.bd\/iwfm\/\">Institute for Water and Flood Management at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology<\/a>. One was for best supervisor of the DECCMA receiving area survey, two were available for best enumerators (one each for Dhaka and Chittagong) and\u00a0 two for the best photography. Mr Md. Masum Ebne Haque and Muhammad Sehab Uddin got the prize for their valuable photos. Mr Md. Ataur Rahman and Ms Nahida Akter was selected as the best enumerators and Mr Robi Ray was selected for the best field supervisor.
