Migration as an outcome and determinant of vulnerability in deltaic populations<\/h1>\n

Lead: <\/strong>University of Ghana (RIPS), Samuel Codjoe & University of Exeter, Neil Adger<\/p>\n

WP3 will assess migration as an adaptation in deltaic environments with a changing climate. The WP aims to understand the conditions that promote migration and its outcomes, as well as gender-specific adaptation options for trapped populations, via surveys. Production of an integrated systems-based bio-physical and socio-economic model will enable investigation of potential future sex disaggregated migration under climate change. The WP will conceptualise and evaluate migration within a wide suite of potential adaptation options at both the household and delta level.<\/p>\n
