He has been involved in the preparation of national level documents including National Water Plan (1991), Flood Action Plan (1996), National Water Management Plan (2001), Bangladesh Water Act (2013). He has expertise on water resources assessment using both surface and groundwater mathematical modelling, evaluation of projects. He also worked for Bangladesh Water Development Board in planning and design division.
