Congratulations to Dr Vasilis Strogilos<\/a>, Southampton Education School, Centre for Research in Inclusion, who was invited to provide oral evidence for the Curriculum and Assessment Review<\/a> offered by the Department for Education. This independent review aims to refresh the\u202fcurriculum\u202fand statutory assessment system for 5- to 19 -year-olds, to make sure they meet the needs of every child and young person. Vasilis was invited as an expert in the education and inclusion of students with SEND in mainstream schools and provided evidence related to his research on differentiated instruction and the role of resource provision as a means to support the effective delivery of the curriculum for students with SEND in mainstream schools.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
