Food allergies can significantly affect a child’s health, leading to lifelong dietary restrictions, anxiety, and the risk of severe reactions.
With the increase in the number of children developing allergies, there is also the increased burden and cost to the NHS.
These are some of the reasons why this project is so important.
We are currently looking for healthcare professionals to work on this project across the UK. We want to ensure parents’ questions can be answered and in some instances, for allergy testing to be carried out.
