href=\"https:\/\/jhg.art\/events\/mary-evans-saints-and-saviours\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Saints and Saviours<\/em><\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;is a new installation by Mary Evans (b. 1963, Lagos, Nigeria) that pays homage to the rich migratory history of the city of Southampton and its people, a history that continues to expand today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presented in partnership with<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blackhistorymonthsouth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Black History Month South<\/strong>,<\/a><em>Saints and Saviours&nbsp;<\/em>can be found One of a new generation of musicians that have been raised with a wide range of influences, Ashley is clearly influenced by hip-hop but has his roots firmly in jazz. Using the original arrangements and nine-piece line-up, the group will explore this hugely influential repertoire adding their own contemporary voices to the mix. Directed by Dan Mar-Molinero.<br><br><strong>UoSMusic Presents\u2026 Real Telepaths<\/strong><br>1pm on Monday 15 November<br><br>This concert is performed by the Hartley Loop Orchestra (University of Southampton music students) alongside composer&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.neilluck.com\/\">Neil Luck<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and London based new music group<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/plusminusensemble.com\/\">Ensemble Plus Minus<\/a><\/strong>.
