ACRG website<\/a>.<\/p>\nThe workshop aims to showcase the latest cutting edge technologies used in the digital recording of 3D boats, amongst other structures and objects. The workshop is designed as a platform for academics developing technologies and software for archaeological recording and ship science engineering, as well as users in museums and in the field, together with designers and industry developers to discuss the latest applications (particularly laser scanning and photogrammetry). The workshop will explore some of the challenges of recording such large, enclosed objects often in far from controlled conditions, it will address appropriate methodologies for appropriate conditions and levels of expertise, and discuss ways in which we can improve these techniques to the advantage of the users.<\/p>\n
