{"id":815,"date":"2013-03-18T18:42:20","date_gmt":"2013-03-18T18:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basinghousecat.wordpress.com\/?p=56"},"modified":"2013-03-18T18:42:20","modified_gmt":"2013-03-18T18:42:20","slug":"spring-survey-week-one-day-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/generic.wordpress.soton.ac.uk\/archaeology\/2013\/03\/18\/spring-survey-week-one-day-one\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Survey Week One \u2013 Day One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week 25 students and 8 staff are working at Basing House to carry out a topographic survey of the entire earthworks complex, and a building survey of the Old House and the Great Barn.<\/p>\n<p>Undergraduate Archaeology students have been hard at work, learning how to use total stations for surveying.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re on site all week (the rain will not put us off), so do come and visit. The site is open to the public Saturday to Thursday (closed Friday).
