When you come back you are filled with\u00a0energy and full of motivation. That\u2019s at least how it has been for me.<\/p>\n<p>I had a great opportunity to attend to rock art documentation project\u00a0in Western Australia, Kimberley with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/\">ACRG<\/a>\u00a0student Eleanora and the\u00a0team from University of Western Australia. As I mentioned in my previous\u00a0post the main aim of the project was to collaborate with traditional\u00a0owners on documentation and presentation methods of the material based\u00a0on their traditions as well as to try out different imaging techniques,\u00a0such as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/culturalheritageimaging.org\/Technologies\/RTI\/\">RTI<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/culturalheritageimaging.org\/Technologies\/Photogrammetry\/\">photogrammetry<\/a>\u00a0and high resolution photography using\u00a0GigaPan.<\/p>\n<p>More than 2000 photos were taken. Some of the data was processed on the\u00a0field to demonstrate the possibilities of technologies and illustrate\u00a0our presentation about possible actions in future. And not only the\u00a0results were demonstrated but also local aboriginal rangers joined us at\u00a0the actual recording process.<\/p>\n<p>It was very enlightening to work with people from Wunambal Gaambera\u00a0Aboriginal Corporation and to learn to see many things from completely\u00a0different perspective.
