The following is a how to guide to fix this problem using Photoshop.<\/p>\n<p>The first step is to load all of the files into Photoshop using the correct tool. This is done by clicking the file tab, then\u00a0Scripts and then &#8220;Load files into Stack&#8221;. This tool\u00a0will load all of the images on top of one another as layers rather than opening up multiple images<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/1.jpg\"><img class=\" wp-image-2693 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/1-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once selected\u00a0a new box will appear as shown below<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/2.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2694\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/2-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-2692\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Select browse and then find your files. Once located select all of the images<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/3.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2695\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/3-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When you have selected all of you files press\u00a0OK. This will then show the first box again but with the files attached. The next stage involves simply pressing the &#8220;Attempt to Automatically Align Source Images&#8221; check box. Once selected press\u00a0OK.<\/p>\n<p>Using this tool will allow the system to align the images and correct the displacement of the camera.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/4.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2696\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/4-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Photoshop will then load all of the images as layers and attempt to align the selected layers based on their content<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/5.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2697\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/5-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When it thinks it has corrected the alignment problem, it will then try to align each of the images separately<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/6.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2698\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/6-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once the\u00a0alignment has been completed (May take\u00a0a while depending on the movement of the camera\u00a0and the file sizes)\u00a0the images should appear to be in a different position.\u00a0This should be evident at the bottom of the screen<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/71.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2703\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/71-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You are able to check the alignment through selecting the view button next to each layer. Start at the top and individually turn off each image. If there are any that you are unhappy with then delete as necessary<\/p>\n<p>The next stage is correctly exporting each of these layers as seperate images. This is completed by selecting File, the Scripts and then &#8220;Export layers to Files&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/8.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2700\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/8-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new bow will appear. Select you destination folder and make sure that JPEG is selected under file type.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/9.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2701\" src=\"http:\/\/acrg.soton.ac.uk\/files\/2013\/02\/9-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When all details are correct press Run. This will then turn off each layer in turn and export the files.
