Part One – add your video<\/h2>\n

  1. Firstly go to YouTube<\/a> and find an appropriate video. COPY its URL (website address).<\/li>\n
  2. Login and go to ‘H5p Content’.<\/li>\n
  3. Click ‘Add new’.<\/li>\n
  4. Give\u00a0your video a name.<\/li>\n
  5. Select the ‘Interactive Video’\u00a0from the drop down.<\/li>\n
  6. Click the ‘Add’ button under the video files text.

  7. PASTE the YouTube video URL into the box shown and click ‘insert’.

  8. Click the ‘Create’ button to save your work so far\"create\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Part Two – Add a table of contents<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Click ‘Edit’\u00a0if not already in the edit screen<\/li>\n
    2. Click ‘Add Interactions’

    3. In the bottom bar navigate to a time suitable for a new bookmark, pause the video and click the bookmark icon. Then click ‘Add bookmark’ and give it a name

    4. Repeat this\u00a0anywhere on the timeline to add as many bookmarks as you wish.<\/li>\n
    5. Click ‘Create’ or ‘Update’ (if already saved) to save your progress and\u00a0preview your new bookmarks.<\/li>\n
    6. When previewing, click the bookmark icon at anytime to jump to a specific time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Part Three – Add a quiz<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Click ‘Edit’\u00a0if not already in the edit screen<\/li>\n
      2. Click ‘Add Interactions’

      3. Using the video timeline slider, navigate to the place you want to add the video and click pause.<\/li>\n
      4. There are a number of interactions you can, but we will be adding a single\u00a0choice quiz.\u00a0Click the icon shown highlighted below.

      5. in the popup window that appears we find it’s\u00a0usually best to tick the ‘Pause Video’ and have the ‘Poster’ options selected shown below

      6. You can now add your question and answers. The\u00a0answers are shown in a random order to students, but make sure you add the correct answers as the FIRST one given when creating the question.

      7. You can add as many possible\u00a0answers as you wish by clicking the ‘Add answer’. You can also have as many questions\u00a0as you wish, but we’ll stick with just one for now.<\/li>\n
      8. You can add more interactivity by jumping to a specific part of the video if correct \/ incorrect by scrolling down to the ‘Adaptivity’ section.

      9. Click the ‘Done’ button and you will be able to position \/ resize your question.<\/li>\n
