AIS has a useful list of ideas to help<\/a>. They also provide a PC application called More from Music. This isn\u2019t yet available on phones or tablets, but a new app is being developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bluetooth can be brilliant when listening on your own, but it doesn\u2019t suit every situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has helped me<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thinking of different situations when music is important to me and finding ways to still enjoy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong rhythms are wonderful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can\u2019t play in a group much now but when I have the chance to play African drums or gamelan, I seize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My \u2018Desert Island Discs\u2019 have changed and developed in the 9 years since I had my implant. At first every piece was just noise. As time has gone on, I have found music has developed. I like new sounds and types of music. It has been great fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
