What has helped me

Thinking of different situations when music is important to me and finding ways to still enjoy it.

Strong rhythms are wonderful.

I can’t play in a group much now but when I have the chance to play African drums or gamelan, I seize it.

My ‘Desert Island Discs’ have changed and developed in the 9 years since I had my implant. At first every piece was just noise. As time has gone on, I have found music has developed. I like new sounds and types of music. It has been great fun.
