This event drew together, shared, and explored learning through research, local community groups and lived experience. There was the chance to talk to professionals in the field of hearing and brain health, and people with real, lived experience of hearing and brain health.

This informative evening explored exhibits about hearing, looking after our brain and cochlear implants. We learned about the world of hearing, cochlear implants and brain health, exploring:

• everyday noises
• what sounds might be damaging our ears
• things we can do to protect, preserve, and support our hearing health as we move through life
• local community groups and services related to hearing and brain health

Participants heard about changes in hearing and brain health, deafness, and cochlear implants from people with lived experience and professionals in the field.
