Welcome!

This blog was created by students and staff taking part in the 2016 Economics Summer School, hosted by the School of Economics at Xiamen Univerisity.

On behalf of everyone who took part I would like to thank Tang Maosha, Huang Ying and all the other staff in Xiamen SOE along with Zhao Tiefu our colleague from Humanities who helped to make the trip such a success.  I would also like to thank the fabulous volunteers who went out of their way to make our students feel welcome and ensured that they had a truly authentic experience of Xiamen student life.

I hope you enjoy looking at the blog and that if you are a UG student in Economics or someone studying UOSM2018 Understanding Modern China that you are inspired to join the trip in 2018.
