The Women’s Committee of the Economic History Society is holding their annual workshop at the Winchester Guildhall on Saturday 3rd November 2018. All are welcome to attend.

The theme is ‘Women and Financial Advice’

Women were involved in financial activities such as book-keeping or dealing with credit networks. They might also be rentiers or manage money on behalf of others. This workshop considers women as financial advisors as well as the types of advice aimed at women in the past.

Speakers include:

Janette Rutterford, D’Maris Coffman, Sheryllynne Haggerty, Helen Paul, Lucy Newton, Peter Knight, Paul Crosthwaite, James Taylor,  Jasper Kunstreich, Alison Daniell and Anne Murphy.
