Your students could win a trip to create a track with Digital Farm Animals (Sony Atlantic) – a top 10 record producer!

How? Allow the Photonics Music Workshop (PMW) to work with your school for the next 4 months! The Royal Academy of Engineering Ingenious Grant has funded the initiative that looks to bridge the gap between STEM and the creative arts by investigating light and sound.
The PMW has a range of 1-2 hour workshops that we would like to bring to you once a month from March – July, free of charge! These workshops are all practical-based where students will complete engineering tasks teaching them the principles of electricity, sound waves and light. These have been tailored to support students curriculum and advance their practical engineering skills. Our Sonic Pi workshop could land your students the opportunity to create a track with Digital Farm animals. The activity involves programming a musical tune to submit into a competition. The winners (including one teacher to accompany students) will win an all-expenses paid trip to Digital Farm Animal’s studio.
If you are interested in working with the PMW, please get in contact to find out more about the workshops and organise a time for them to visit you!
