11th December – Day 11
On 8th December 2016, two early career researchers from Biological Sciences presented their work at the British Society of Immunology in Liverpool. This meeting was a three-day joint annual meeting from the British and Dutch Immunology societies with >1600 attendees, representing the latest international research in immunology. Elena Pipi and Paul Ibbett both work on the role of inflammation in retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and are funded by the charity Fight for Sight.
