By Car

Take the M3 south and leave at J13 to the M27. Exit at J3 to the M271, and follow the signs to Southampton Waterfront.

London is 80 miles away, Portsmouth 25 miles and Winchester 13 miles.

A small number of car parking spaces will be available at the venue for conference attendees, free of charge. Other users will have to pay for parking.  Several multistorey car parks are also available at walking distance from the conference venue.

Unfortunately the venue have just informed us that they cannot offer car parking spaces during the meeting since the car park is being used for the boat show preparations. The nearest available parking is at West Quay, 5 minutes walk away, see here.

By Rail

The venue is 10 minutes walk from Southampton Central Railway Station with links to and from London Waterloo in approximately 75 minutes. Check schedules and purchase a train ticket in advance here. There is a taxi rank at the station.

By Air

The venue is 20 minutes drive from Southampton Airport. Trains run from Southampton Airport Parkway (2 minutes walk from the airport) to Southampton Central which is then a short walk from the hotel.  Alternatively taxis can be taken from the station directly to the venue.

From Heathrow airport, one option is to take the direct coach to Southampton (about 1.5 hours). It is advisable to book the coach in advance if possible. Another option is to take the Heathrow Express train to central London, travel by tube to Waterloo, and take the train from Waterloo. Check schedules and purchase a train ticket in advance here.

There are two train options to Southampton from London Gatwick. There is a direct train, which is quite scenic, but it is quite infrequent and slow (2 hours). A more frequent and faster option is to change at Clapham Junction. Check schedules and purchase a train ticket in advance here.
