Many newer laptops, as well as tablets, connect to external displays (e.g. a data projector) using HDMI (High Definition Media Interface).
All CLS rooms provide a standard HDMI cable to connect to the data projector or flat-panel display. However, unless your laptop or device has a standard HDMI port, you will need to purchase and bring an adapter to connect to its mini-HDMI port, micro-HDMI port or compatible mini-Displayport or Thunderbolt port. Most CLS room also have an auxiliary HDMI port and USB Power port, typically used to connect an iPad or other device. You must provide your own HDMI cable and adapter if required.
